Tragedy through and through. Anyone who makes a bomb and holds his mother hostage is deeply disturbed and in need of appropriate treatment (in jail and/or elsewhere) precisely to prevent escalation and innocent victims. I am not in America, but from what I read/hear/watch, it seems to me that the underlining problems are deeply rooted into the fabric of society and have been for a long time. Years ago I've left behind what, at the time, I could not accept and moved to the other side of the world ... with its own set of problems, admittingly different to the ones I left.
